Project Coordinator

BMT

BMT is one of the world's leading maritime and engineering consultancies providing a wide range of advanced design, risk management, experimentation and software systems - primarily to environmental, marine, offshore, defence and civil engineering markets.

BMT are the project managers of AVATARS, and will be responsible for the Scenario Generator and Advisory Module.

University of Salford

Salford is internationally recognised as an enterprising university, seeking innovative ways of extending its capabilities. Salford was the first university to establish Academic Enterprise as an integrated third strand of the University's activities, of equal importance to teaching and research.

Salford will be responsible for emotional modelling in agent behaviour requirements, final testing.

Buro Happold

Buro Happold is a world class, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. It provides comprehensive general and specialist engineering consultancy for complete developments, buildings and their infrastructure, operating out of an international network of offices.

Buro Happold will be providing end user requirements, and evaluating AVATARS in the terminal design tasks.

University of Greenwich

The University of Greenwich is a major modern UK university. Its three campuses extend from Maritime Greenwich to Medway,and aims to combine the best of the "old" and "new" university traditions, combining strong regional links and a mission for access and lifelong learning with research excellence and an international role.

Greenwich will be responsible for the development of agent interaction aspects, visualisation developments, and design of the data collection procedures.

ATM

The Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM) is a voluntary inter-administrative consortium which can be joined by all the administrations in charge of public transport services in the metropolitan region of Barcelona. It spans a surface area of 3,237,1 km2 and has a population of 4,301,721 inhabitants (1999).

ATM will be providing end-user expertise, data collection and development of case studies, definition of requirements and specifications, final testing and evaluation.

FGC

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) is the regional railways company, operating suburban train lines. It is a public company created on September 5, 1979 to run the railway lines in the geographical framework of Catalonia and which are not part of the Renfe network.

FGC will be the principal end user from the rail industry, and will be developing the user requirements, case study definitions and providing testing and evaluation facilities.
